Dr. Reynolds -- or Dr. Jill, as her patients call her -- is originally from Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. She completed a Bachelor of Science at Saint Mary's University in 2000, followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery from Dalhousie Dental School in 2005. She worked at Trimac Dental Centre for six years before opening Bedford South Dentistry with her friend and classmate, Dr. Natalie Brothers, in Sept. 2011.
Dr. Jill has a keen interest in continuing dental education and has been a part-time professor at the Dalhousie Dental School since her graduation in 2005. Dr. Jill is very friendly and outgoing. She loves implant and cosmetic dentistry, but also has a great rapport with children.
She has many professional Achievements. Outside being a member of the part-time faculty at Dalhousie Dental School since 2005, she also helps with the after-hours emergency services for Dalhousie Dental School. She is a member of the Halifax County Dental Association Executive Committee, where she helps organize meetings and get local dentists involved in projects around the HRM. Dr. Jill is a member of gIDE (Global Institute of Dental Education) and is taking a Master Clinician program in Implant Dentistry from gIDE and Loma Linda University in California (September 2015 graduates).
Dr. Jill has completed her certification in Invisalign (2008) and is an active member of the CDA and NSDA since her graduation in 2005. She is also the published co-author of "The Effect of Magnification Loupes on Dental Hygiene Student Posture" published in the Jan. 2007 publication of the Journal of Dental Education (where she is listed under her maiden name Jillian Burke).
